Echinacea, a Native American plant also known as coneflower, has been used for centuries as a remedy for the common cold. Echinacea has immune supporting properties helping to decrease the duration of common colds as well as relieving symptoms of mild upper respiratory tract infections.

Ginkgo is known as a ‘living fossil’ as it’s one of the world’s oldest living trees native to China. It contains flavone glycosides and terpene lactones which help to support memory & recall as well as enhance healthy blood circulation.

Milk Thistle, a prickly purple plant native to Europe contains silymarin which has been used for many years in traditional Western herbal medicine to support liver health and maintain a healthy digestive system.  

Ashwagandha is also known as ‘the king of Ayurvedic herbs’ and its traditional use in Indian Ayurvedic medicine dates back thousands of years. In traditional Western herbal medicine, Ashwagandha root is used to help the body adapt during times of stress.   

Often mistaken for blueberries, bilberries contain high amounts of antioxidants known as anthocyanosides. Anthocyanosides are responsible for the fruits blue-black colour as well as its ability to support healthy eye function.

Kava, a plant growing in the Pacific Islands has been drunk in community gatherings for over 1,000 years. Kava root is useful in relieving symptoms of mild anxiety and stress and can also aid in relaxation of the mind.
